Ian worked till late last night, almost midnight, painting a coat of primer onto the aft deck, and then the final coat of anti-fouling on the bottom.

First thing this morning he put a second coat of varnish onto the companionway ladder.

After that it was all about the stripes:

Deciding exactly where to put them

Getting the lines right

All marked out

Hull masked

First bit of blue goes on

Second stripe almost done

It took hours to do the marking out and masking.  Can’t wait to get the second coat done tomorrow and all the tape off.

This evening Ian painted the first top coat onto the aft deck.
