Awake early to watch qualy for the Oz GP – good grief but this new qualy system is a load of bollocks! – then got stuck in on the boat. Ian’s list of jobs for today: refit 6 windows,  fit exhaust outlet fitting and connect pipe (got to remove aft bunk to do that), fit water anti-syphon breather, fit 3 gas locker vent covers, wire charger to engine battery, fit bilge pump, refit companion way, plus lots of other little jobs.  I think he got through the list.

We are particularly happy with the new stripes:

Whew, lots of work but worth it in the end.
This afternoon I got down to cleaning up inside, which was total chaos.  Only 1/3 completed and we have to move all the stuff back on that was taken off and stored in the shed, and move back all the stuff that has accumulated in our bedroom and the kitchen.
We counted the layers of paint we put onto the hull:
Below water – 2 coats green epoxy pre-primer, 3 coats black epoxy barrier paint, 2 coats anti-fouling.
Above water – 2 coats primer, 2 coats white topcoat, 2 coats blue stripes.
That’s a lot of paint
