Douai

Ian spent the whole day working on the batteries.
I did the tourist thing with the camera.
All alone in the Halte Nautique, Douai

The Scarpe river runs through the middle of the city

A glimpse of the Saint Pierre cathedral.  Unfortunately it closes at lunch time from 12.00 to 13.00 and I got there a minute after 12.00

An old lock, no longer in use, but the sluice gates alongside still work.

Leborgne Passage

17th century houses

The theatre dates from 1785. I would have loved to go in but it was closed.

The Hotel de Ville and Belfry, dating from the 14th and 15th centuries.

The Belfry is magnificent

Ian's workshop

The new LiFePO batteries built into the locker under the dinette seat.
