Yesterday:

We will be here for a couple of days.  Ian is still working on the new battery installation which is rather a big job.  The new batteries are much smaller and lighter than the old ones.  The plan is to install them in a different place altogether freeing up space in the engine room for an extra water tank.  But that requires running new wires, installing new switches, etc, and of course all in the most inaccessible places.  Not an easy job.

Meanwhile I made a cover for the generator.  The generator was on the boat when we bought it but has been stored in Diksmuide all this time, not carried on the boat.  Seeing we are not going back to Diksmuide we have had to bring it with us.  It is sitting on the aft deck and needed a cover to protect it from the elements.
