Still in Diksmuide

Very cold today, max 12 degrees.  Windy, squally, rainy and even hail. 

So I spent the day cleaning.   First of all I did 3 loads of laundry in the marina builidng, €6 for 3 hours' use of the washing machine and drier.  That's a pretty good deal.  Lynn had also paid for 3 hours so between us we washed everything on the boats.

Then I cleaned the barbecue, then Ian unscrewed the hob and cleaned it underneath as well as on top.

Ian cleaned the bilges under the engine, a job he has been putting off ever since we first moved onto the boat!  Every time he opened up the engine room to check the engines it annoyed him and today was finally the day it got done.

Had dinner with Lynn and Shaun and Willie, the harbour master, came on board for a drink.  We are really impressed with this club/marina and have decided to leave the boat here in the winter.  It will cost a total of €225 for 5 months: 1st November to 31st March.  That seems like an excellent deal.  So now we have the boat storage sorted for summer and winter.
