With wind
and rain forecast for today we decided stay where we are.
It was a
lazy day. I walked to the bakery at the
far side of town (a km away) where I bought 2 baguettes, one for lunch today
and the other I put in the freezer for tomorrow. We will be leaving before the bakery opens,
which is a surprisingly late 8.30.
While I was
away Ian cleaned the hull and fenders which get covered in mud in the locks.
Later in the
morning I took a walk to a Potter’s shop not far from the canal. There were a lot of wares on display, and I
parted with a little cash, but forgot to take pictures!
The water tastes good here so we emptied our tank and refilled it.
And that was
that!
